Prof Glenn Withers

Glenn Withers is a Professor of Economics at ANU, and former CEO of Universities Australia. With extensive academic and government experience, including roles at Harvard and Cambridge, he specializes in areas including population, immigration, and infrastructure financing. Glenn has held leadership positions in organizations such as the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia. He played a pivotal role in founding institutions such as the Productivity Commission, thw Crawford School, ANZSOG, and Universities Australia. Recognized with an Order of Australia, Glenn is known for his contributions to applied economics, notably in designing Australia's immigration points system.
