Jade Anderson

Jade Anderson is a PhD student at the UNU School of Archaeology and Anthropology where she is researching the intersection of refugee and labour migrations regimes in the Hong Kong SAR, China through the asylum applications of former migrant domestic workers. Jade is currently the Impact & Learning Lead at CARE Australia supporting humanitarian and development programming across Asia and the Pacific. She has over 20 years of experience with international and local NGOs around the world and has supported a number of NGO-led research projects examining the migration and employment experiences of migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong. Her research interests include migration, asylum and forced migration, and the theory and practice of development and humanitarianism.
