Nina Nymeyer
Nina Nymeyer is a PhD Candidate in the ANU School of Archaeology and Anthropology. Her research interests include areas of health, wellbeing, spirituality and sport and amongst migrant communities and within the humanitarian aid sector, considering the influence of neoliberalism, imperialism, capitalism and colonisation. She currently works as a Girls and Young Women’s Project Officer at STARTTS, providing social, psychological and physical support to newly arrived refugee communities within NSW schools and within broader communities. This includes facilitating camps, outdoor activities and programs to improve their overall wellbeing and resettlement.
