Dr Michael Zekulin

Michael Zekulin is a Senior Lecturer in the ANU School of Politics and International Relations. He specializes in research on terrorism, radicalization, and CVE strategies. He has published extensively, contributed to policy papers, and is a recognized public speaker and media contributor on security matters. His current research investigates counter-terror and counter-radicalization policy impacts on society and identity, homegrown Islamist extremist lifecycles, and methodological challenges in terrorism studies. He earned his degree from the University of Calgary in 2012 and is the author of Endgames: Improving Our Understanding of Homegrown Terrorism.
