Francesco Ricatti is an Associate Professor of Italian Studies at ANU, and an expert on Migration History, Transnational History, Italian Language, and Migrant Cultural Studies. His research delves into Italian migration history in Australia, ethnic and migration history in Australia, de-colonial and Indigenous aspects of migration history, and transcultural studies. Francesco is also known for his work on migrant youth in Italy and Australia, particularly in informal transculturation through art and sports, oral history, and football studies.
