Susy Macqueen is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Linguistics at ANU's College of Arts and Social Sciences. She specializes in language learning, assessment, and language use in diverse contexts. She explores the social impact of language assessments and their role in education and migration policy. With a teaching background spanning various global settings, Susy has authored notable books, including The Emergence of Patterns in Second Language Writing and Assessing English for Professional Purposes. She is co-president of the Association for Language Testing and Assessment of Australia and New Zealand.
