Jessica Hambly is a Senior Lecturer in the ANU College of Law, and Co-Director of the Law Reform and Social Justice program. As a socio-legal scholar, her research covers asylum access, refugee law, and gender in migration. Jessica's work with migrant and refugee rights organizations informs her research. She is currently focused on asylum appeals, vulnerability in migration law, and the historical context of the 'White Australia' Policy on Anglo-Indians. Past projects include comparative asylum appeal studies in Europe and children's citizenship rights.
