Dr Ksenia Gnevsheva

Ksenia Gnevsheva is a Lecturer in Linguistics in ANU's School of Literature, Languages, and Linguistics. She holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Canterbury (New Zealand), an M.A. in English as a Second Language from the University of Arizona (USA), and a B.A. in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics from Saratov State University (Russia). Proficient in English, Russian, French, Korean, Polish, and Spanish, her research centers on sociophonetics and second-language acquisition, exploring sociolinguistic variation in bilingual speakers in production and perception.

Ksenia’s main linguistic interest lies at the intersection of sociophonetics and second language acquisition. Her current work focuses on sociolinguistic variation in bilingual speakers in production and perception.
