Sandra Elhelw-Wright is a PhD Candidate in the School of Regulation and Global Governance at The Australian National University. As the CEO of the Settlement Council of Australia, she leads 125 member organizations focused on aiding migrants and refugees in Australia. Sandra's personal experience as a second-generation migrant informs her work. She previously managed the Humanitarian Settlement Program in the ACT, and she actively participates on various community boards and advisory committees. Her PhD research focuses on domestic and family violence in Australian Muslim communities.
