Associate Professor Laurence Brown
Laurence Brown is a Steering Group Member of the Migration Hub. He is the Director of the Australian National Internship Program and an Associate Professor in the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences. His research focuses on spatial analysis of migrant mobility, social and economic dynamics of ethnic inequalities, and the intellectual history of migration studies. Laurence has taught migration history at the University of the West Indies, the American University of Paris, and the University of Manchester, where he was Co-investigator of the ESRC Centre on Dynamics of Ethnicity, Co-Director of the Centre for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS), Co-Director of the Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre, and he was editor of the Dynamics of Diversity policy briefing series.
